Does anyone have this caliber? Whats it shoot like? I found a 338 Whelen built on a Sako AV action with a 25" stainless Galliard barrel. Any opinions would be appreciated. | ||

I can't imagine it being anything other than a 338-06. Maybe it was so named by one of those die hard fans of the Whelan so he didn't have to admit that he liked the 338-06...  --------------------------------- It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it | |||
