Would a 350 Rigby work in a 1903 Springfield, it is .10 longer than the 30-06 OAL?

It certainly could be done, I have seen Sedgley 03's in 375 H&H.

Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship

Thanks Phil,

There are two 1903 Springfield at the local bullet broker for cheap. Both are in good nick. One is screaming to be a 400 Whelen, the other I wasn't sure about.
