Here is a couple od groups from my rem 700 pss with canjar trigger and MK 4 leupold 6.5-20 M1 wuith mil dot reticle in badger rings and 20 moa base.

Bullet; Nos 150 gr BT
Case; Rem
Primer; Fed 215m
Powder; AR2225
OAL; 3.681" (and still feeds through mag Just).

The smaller group .291" (106 gr of AR2225) exhbited a tad to much pressure with ejector marks in the brass, these where hand weighed while the larger group .501" using 104 gr of AR2225 was done using the powder thrower, I have settled on this load for the mean time as I wil be using it on game this week and was in a hurry.

I shoot three shot groups as I am most comfortable with this and for me it represents the type of shooting me and my friends do.

At any rate I was happy. I have no Chrono but I figure around 3600 fps.

Reloader what cal is your Rem Police ??

I may get the bolt Jewlled on mine at some stage as I like how the jewlled bolt feels on my rem 700 .243. It feels a bit smoother than the matte finish.

300 Win Mag

She's shooting real nice w/ 190 MKs and the Discontinued 180 Hdy HPBTs.

I like the Jeweled bolt idea, the bolt on my Sendero is jeweled.

I think I'll keep this one all black. I've got around 120 rounds through her and she's gettin' pretty smooth.

Have a Good One

Thanks Sako,

I am off to see if I can't blast a couple of foxes with this rig

I am very impressed with the leupold MK 4 scope, this is the first MK 4 leupold I have ever owned.

I've just loaded up some 220gr bullets for my 300 RUM going 2900 fps. I plan on shooting my reloaded 180 gr bullets this Saturday morning. They are loaded to go 3225 fps. Maybe next week I'll shoot some of my 150gr bullets and see how they group.

JRO45,

shot 10 ferals with the 150 gr Nos BT's over the weekend, longest shot was 439 yards, these things shoot flat, I have never owned a rifle that shoots as flat as the .300 RUM before, I am impressed with the round for sure, the Nos BT's are blowing huge holes when they strike a bit of bone, exactly what I wanted for instant kills on lighter game, I am a Happy .300 RUM camper.

At some point I want to work up a load for the 200 gr accubond.

Great groups in your ig to by the way.

PC, I shot the 150gr bullets today and my three shot group was about the same as yours maybe a little smaller. Here in Delaware there isn't any rifles used for hunting just shotguns. But I do go on hunting trips out of state where a long shot might be helpful.

So you got 10 you're doing good with that rifle

Was not a lot around but shot 14 shots from the .300 RUM and hit 10 so I had 4 misses out of that gun for the trip.

Sounds like your RUM is a real good shooter as well !!
