200g 30cal Norma Oryx

Anyone have any experience with this bullet. Will be choosing between this 200gr offering and 180gr partitions and A frames for this Autumns moose hunt.

Obviously it'll kill a moose but I wondered how good a balance they are of penetration and expansion.

shot on the shoulder from above - no exit.

There was another brown bear (I don't recall its exact size 180-200 kg) - shot with 9,3x74R, 232gr Oryx through both shoulders - bullet exit ~3x caliber) - died on the spot without an hitch.

Thanks - I've used the 232gr Oryx on 3 bulls. I thought they were a bit overexpansive but worked OK.

I will probably take the most accurate one that is closest to the iron sight regulation.

You can´t really compare the Oryx and the A-frame as their construction is so different. I´d say that the Oryx is great on light skinned game but if you shooting something tougher -say an oryx!- I´d go with the A-frame.
