Thanks for the reply. I just talked to a dealer and he says that theyre strong but seemed to kind of echo your opinion of their fit and finish. Im wondering if the metalwork on one of the single shots would be worthy of this piece of English walnut Ive got. They do look interesting in the pics and the price is right. Dont care for the looks of the over/under combo though.

I don't get much information about them... I really hope Remington makes a move on them quickly. I wouldn't mind paying a little more if they were tested to Remington standards, which may not be the best, but are probably a damn sight better than IZH or whatever. They list the single shot in 6.5x55mm... I hope Big Green doesn't kill that off and offer it in Rem-only rounds...

and they had EAA doubles listed even in 45-70. They where priced around 400$ I think. Heck get one of these 45-70 doubles and you have your africa gun
