I just clicked on "medium bores" and 4 out of ten posts are about MORTIE. It was funny for a while but sickening now.
Time for him to get a new hobby. OH SHIT--by making this post it will now be 50% Mortie. Maybe enough people will get sick enough to get the point accross.

I completely agree, wish he would go and play in a more appropriate sandbox.

Funny. I thought it was just me. Most of the stuff would be good fodder for the humor forum.

Maybe those of you who don't like BIG MORTIE's style should quit bitching and post your own creative, original topics. The Mortie character may be semi-literate but at least he isn't a stick-in-the-mud.

I instigated the "You are ignoring this user" function for that cat and 1-2 others. That really helped curb the distaste for his BS.

The only issue I have now is that (as you have pointed out, he's cluttering up the site with so many dumb-assed threads. It's not a big deal to me because I don't open them but I've recently recommended this site to 4 of my friends and, unfortunately, they won't get to find the same great site packed full of great info like I did a couple of years ago. Don't get me wrong, I like guys with a sense of humor and I've even learned to enjoy the many of the threads that get hi-jacked as long as they're not too off-the-wall and there's still a lot of great people/info here but you have to do quite a bit more sifting to find it.

I hated to even post my post suggesting he relegate himself to the "humor" forum but IMHO he IS cluttering up the place. I had hoped people would tire of him and he would move on but not so.

I thought his first two posts were ONE too much. I don't know why someone wants to make fun of acting like a Moronic Hick. I have actually been around people who are like Mortie and are not trying to be that stupid. That is the way those people are naturally.

But I see no sense or value gained making fun of people like that. Their lack of education is sad, not funny. However in a world of dwendling ethics and morals, some of those Hicks are still people who have more scrupples than a lot of people with a lot more education.

Mortie is like hearing the same joke, told ten thousand different ways , by the same guy, in the space of a month.

sorry Mortie, but get a life Guy!
