I have a 7STW built on a M70 heavy barrel. I believe it has a 9.5 twist. I shoot 140 through it with 3 shot groups around .75" maybe a little less. A near maximum charge of 7828 gives me 3470fps over my Chrony. I have never tried 160 in my rifle. I did work up loads for two M70 with sporter barrels using 160s. They both shot a max load of 1000 sub MOA. I never did clock them but my software says around 3175.

My 7 STW is on a Rem 700 SS. I built it back when the cartridge was still a wildcat, and ended up with a 24" barrel. Accuracy is pretty good with bullets it likes, I found speeds from my rifle was slower then published specs. I never hit 3200 fps with a 160 gr bullet until RL25 came on the scene. It's a flat, fast shooter. - dan

I just tried 160 Accubonds for the first time. My rifle is a left hand 26 Hart barreled 700 action.with a McMillen stock, 1 in 9 twist. I used 78grs of H1000 with win cases, and federal 215 primers. I didnt chrony the rounds, but according to the manual it would be about 3,000 and change.
@ 100yds it grouped just under 3/8"

Both of my 7mmstw's have 1 in 10" twists and 26" barrels.Three shot groups with 140gr ballistic tips average 1/2" with both and velocity runs 3480fps and 3520fps with the two rifles.I am using imr7828 in both rifles.
