For me it's the 1-12" #3 contour.

I see little difference in Douglas or Shilen.....both are very good barrels.

Shilen would get my vote.
Also. I had a Remington classic the year they chambered it in .350 mag, 1984 I believe?
I had the magazine box up sized and the feed ramp modified to allow a longer oal. I gained a full 3 tenths of an inch in seating length and the extra powder capacity that allowed. I was safely able to shoot 250 grain Hornady SP's to near 2,700ish FPS (maybe more, I never pushed it). Performed where I always felt it should have from the factory. It basically performed as a short .358 Norma using less powder to do it if your old enough to remember that one. Plus, in getting the bullets real close to the lands it shot crazy accurate! Just a thought if your a reloader.
