that's a beautiful rifle! i take it from the white line spacers it was stocked back in the 70's, is that correct? the scope seems to fit the gun perfectly. i'm sure you are glad to be seen carrying that rifle. enjoy!

I passed up the EXACT rifle several years back a friend sold......for $200....!@#$%^&*()_

If only I knew then, what I do now......the 7mm-08's just seemed sexier..... If that deal came by today........

Thanks for the replies. I am not sure of what vintage it is, I would guess 1970s. I've never much cared for white line spacers and monte carlos, but I like this whole package and wouldn't change any of it. Not only is it nice, it is a fantastic caliber.

If anyone can tell me when approximately it was made, I would like to know out of curiosity.

I bought it off these boards a couple of weeks ago, new and apparently unfired (bolt face & body unmarked, i.e. never put in the receiver) in the box.
