Either a store or a private citizen in Europe (if legal. I would never ask anyone to break their country's export laws)

Looking for 100-200 pieces.

I recently received some 9.3x64 RWS brass from Martini Gunworks. You might try them. I spoke with Mandy Martini: 250-417-2926, email: martinigunmakers@shaw.ca

I recommend you contact Horneber in Germany and tell them your needs.

I've got a line on a source out of Germany.

I want to build a hunting rifle in 6.5 x 68S. A buddy just got some land and said I could hunt on it. FYI: hunting is expensive in Texas. Most of the land is privately owned and it can cost big bucks to get land access. You can easily spend $1500 for a chance to shoot a deer.

Thanks, Lee

Trax,

The RWS brass is VERY soft. You will not get maximum velocity with peak accuracy.

I have owned a 5.6X50, 5.6X57, 6.5X68 and 8x68 and liked them all, but eventually got rid of them because of RWS being the only source of brass here in Oz.

I have used a lot of RWS brass and have never had issues. 9.3X62 and 6.5X57. It is annealed and have not found it to be soft. As good perhaps better than Norma and Lapua. Have never had the chance to use Horneber brass, so can not comment. I have no reservations using RWS. Unfortunatley from what I have heard it is no longer imported to the US..

RWS products are sought after & highly prized by many here in U.K., alongside Lapua & Norma. coffee

If anything, RWS is regarded as the Gold Standard among many reloaders. It is not soft but tough as nails. If anything, I find it more difficult to determine pressure signs because it will take greater pressure without showing the telltale signs.

Waffen Frankonia is a great choice....when I was stationed in their fair land, I spent a lot of my monthly pay check at their store in Wurzburg...It is one of those stores that has everything, and I do meaneverything!

At the time I was shooting a lovely Heym that someone needed more than me, once I returned to the states.

Russ...
