| Nice looking outfit but have never owned one so cannot vouch for quality. They also come in 30-06. My understanding is they were manafactured specifically for Wal-Mart. |

| Like Mike above, I've seen that same rifle in the local Wal-Mart here.
Actually thought about it myself.... |

| Wal Mart must get several different special-run rifles. They also carry a Ruger 10/22 with a longer barrel, cut checkering stock with a rubber butt plate and no barrel band. Not that they ever seem to have much variety in their little gun case, but interesting at times. |

| I saw what i think you are talking about in the gun shop. The fellow said they were a special run and only came in the 30/06 and 270,with the 30/06 you got lep.rings but the 270 didn't come with them, were priced a little over $400 bucks,The ones they had had a cameo stock and no sights, really looked nice.Don't know if it is the same one or not though said he had not seen any with a laminated stock. |

| Does the "LS" stand for laminate stock or laminate stainless? If it's a stainless laminate, I'd jump on it! |

| I'd say Laminated Stock, as the one I saw was a laminated stock & blued metal. Yep, if it was laminated and stainless, I'd be writing about the one I already bought at $429! |
