Has this been discussed?
I've been away from the computer.
Just read the article by Van Zwoll or one of those guys, mentions 46k psi and damn-near 308Win performance.
Just begs the question as to what could be done with a 308-284 chopped to length at those pressure specs. And now if Hornady will release just the 165 (160?) grain leverevolution bullet, it just might be worth me pursuing that crazy short 404 'cat I drew up long ago. (Actually started as 7mm, but you take what you can get!)

My quick take on this round has to be very close, if not a copy of the 307 Winchester, loaded with the 160 grain Plastic Tip bullet they are putting on the 30/30 Leverolution bullet...

I am glad it is an offering, as it has practical application.. I am sure it will be followed by the 358 Marlin Express which will be a 356 Style Case and the bullet from the 35 Remington Leverolution plastic tip bullet...

Wise move, but nothing new really....but it doesn't have to be new to be a good idea in my book...

Either of those in an XLR set up, I see as a very attractive package...

maybe a 375 Marlin Express is in the mill.. if it isn't, It surely will be wildcatted on that platform, I betcha!
