Thought some of you AR members might not know. I was in a gun shop today and had the owner tell me he had recieved an email from Thompson Center.

They are recalling all T/C Ventures produced from Aug. 1 thru Nov. 1 2012. It seems there is a problem with gun going off when the safety is taken off.
They are taking care of the problem with guns already sold and are sending call tags for ones still in stores. He said he personally had to track down 36 and had another 30 in stock that needed to be sent back.
The email said production had ceased until they get things straight.

Be sure to check the T/C or Smith and Wesson Website to see if you gun falls into the recall.
