I can get one of last years rem titanium 30/06 N.I.B for just over $1000 canadian. Are these rifles worth the cost or should I just order a kimber montana for about the same cost?It would only be used for sheep/goat.

thanks

That is a good price. I would however opt for the Kimber. I have 2 and they are my most prized firearms.

I have two - a 700Ti in 300SAUM and one in 260Rem. You can't beat titanium for strength to weight ratio, durability and weather resistance. I can't say I have any field experience with the Kimber Montana, but I know you can't go wrong with the Ti.

I have owned both and I think I would prefer the Remington if I had to choose, and I am a big Kimber fan!
