This is my pre-64 .270. I decided to put a new stock on it. Mike Kokolus turned it for me and I finished it up. I just picked it up from the guy who checkers for me. It's stock except for the Williams bottom metal. It shoots 160's very well so I saw no reason to mess with it. I don't know why I can't take a clear distant shot so no you're not drunk looking at those pics hillbilly

Dempsey,

Your rifle is magnificent. I like every part of it.

I am just reposting the pistol grip from your rifle which holds my attention.

Thanks, it's a fun hobby and sort of addictive. George, Arnold at Capitol Sports checkered it for me. He does a nice job and is a real pleasure to deal with.

Ya got a real classic on that one. Absolutely gorgeous. Usually, I'm not a jealous type of guy
but I am on this one. Bear in Fairbanks

Stock carries beautiful lines. The cheek piece and your selection of wood really make for a beautiful package. Good job.

LBguy, I see the little mistakes here and there that I made so it doesn't bother me. I do have a real nice one I had built for me and I admit I do baby it

The whole project totals about $1400 so I'm not in it much at all. The blank was a real bargain. I wish the distant shots came out clearer, the wood is very nice. I bought it from Presliks.

I like it too ! I have been touring all the local gun shops ,in anticipation of my tax return ,
And that just moved a pre 64 I found closser to the front of the line.
Somthing similer in 35 Whelen with a nice looking set of back up sights.
I have a fren who checkers real nice too, Costs a prety penny though !
