It should fit but not work. I believe all the Tikka mags are the same body with different internals while the actions are the same length with different bolts stops. Someone with more handson experience please correct me if I'm wrong.

if it fits and it's the same action it should work, why not? The only thing I can see is if the back part of the mag is opened beyond a stop, in other words something above the case would stop it from rising up to be pushed by the bolt into firing position. Just trying to figure a way to feed longer bullets.

The mags with interchange. But your problem is the bolt stop and magazine block. The bolt stop allows the bolt to go back only so far. The magazine block in a short action magazine will align the cartridges in the mag slightly ahead of the bolt. If you use the longer magazine with a different block or no block the cartridges will actually end up under the bolt as the cartridges will be seated further back in the mag.The bolt will never make contact with base of the cartridges and feed them into the chamber.
