Sorry oz, I don;t shoot a 7mmRUM but I do shoot a 7mmDakota, just abit shorter. Try the Alliant website. You can also use 7mmWby or 7STW data & work up. IMO, the 7mmRUM is way over bore & your best bet will probably be w/ RL25. I like IMR7828 in my 7mmDakota, just a bit slower than RL22. Good luck.

I own a 7 RUM in a model 700 sendero. I've tried Barnes, Nosler Partitions, Sierra & Speer bullets with variuos powders with less than desireable results(even though I did shoot an Elk @ 358yds with a 175gr Grand Slam)until a tried the 150gr Swift Scirroco. The first group I shot with 82.5gr of H4831 was 3/4" @ 100yds. That's not too bad for a factory hunting rifle. I want to play around with the H4831 some more and also try some RL22 & RL25. The Scirrocco bullets are kinda expensive(~$45/100)but they work goog for me. Hope this helps.........Possum

FWIW PH, I thinkl H4831 is too fast for best results in the bi RUM case. Your vel. are likely to little faster than a 7remmag.

H1000 or RL25, retumbo seemed too slow with a 162gr a-max.
