I have a Alaskan wilderness rifle (awr) gen 1. It was built for me by Remington custom shop in 2003-2004 time frame. It’s a 7mm rem mag and it’s left handed. It shoots pretty good. Does any know anything about this rifle - quality resale price ect ? It was built for me but as a Corp gift and I had little input in it other than saying 7mm rem mag (I should have said 30/06) Thanks Mike

The rifle is a .75 moa rifle. The stock is a McMillan according to my internet searching but I am not sure. The gen 2 awr had a Bell and Carlson stock and had a msrp of $3400. Anyone own a gen 1 awr ? rifle was made before freedom arms acquired Remington. Thanks, Mike

Mike, they're quite similar to the KS Mountain Rifle made by the Remington Custom Shop for years. It's probably worth in the $1,100 to $1,350 range. I've found Custom Shop rifles to be quite accurate and well-made.
