Good site. As an example of just how much price gouging in going on, in 2005, a box of .375 factory 300 grain Remington Swift A Frames sold for about $52.00. Now, they're around $86.00. There is no reason for that, other than greed.

........and just maybe the huge increases in the raw materials over the past few years, copper in particular. It is not always greed. Bob There is room for all of God's creatures....right next to the mashed potatoes. http://texaspredatorposse.ipbhost.com/

Materials did go up significantly in 2007 and 2008 but took a nose dive beginning in the 4th quarter of 2008. All metals are significantly lower than 18 months ago. You have to take a look at energy and the cost to produce these goods as well which was up much higher 18 months ago. There is room for price reduction on these products however recent demand due to panic buying of ammo after the Obama election has propted up these price levels. As demand slows and factories slow down so will prices fall.

People that blame things on greed have no clue how the real world works.
