I need help on picking a stock for my 7mm RM Vanguard. What do you think about the Bell and Carlson stock with the aluminum bedding block?
THANKS
Jerry

If I am correct that is the very same stock that Weatherby offers for their Vanguard sub-moa models, should be a good rigid set up, I think they call them the medallist series?

I got one from Brownells a couple of years ago on closeout and it made my Vangard a real tackdriver.

I have a Medalist on my Howaby Vanguard. I recommend it highly.

I don't have any concrete proof, but I think B&C makes the stocks for Weatherby.
I had my gun in SW to get the scope fitted for lens covers. Put my gun alongside a factory Weatherby with the synthetic stock. They look a whole lot alike. To much to be a coincidence.

I believe they are using an H-S Precision!

Weatherby does use the B&C Medalist series for their stocks. In addition, they also use the B&C Medalist stocks for their Dangerous Game Rifles up to and including the .460 WBY.

I am sure you will be satisfied. I have one on a Mauser action and am very pleased with the result.

Medalist is a good stock, but it is heavy. I've only owned one and sold it for that reason. My rifle wasn't a magnum and the extra weight was unwelcome Frowner
