Just curious if you went with the Timney or Jewell triggers

The Timney trigger gets you the bolt lock capability, and I don't believe the Jewell does.

The Timney is a true two-position safety which allows you to have the bolt locked while on safe, which keeps me from losing it in the woods. By pressing down along the axis of the safety lever, however, you can unlock the bolt and unload the rifle while it's still on safe.

Even with the Jewell, you are not going to lose the bolt in the woods. You still need to press the bolt release to remove the bolt from the rifle. The Timney prevents the bolt from lifting in the safe position. You can also lift the bolt and unload the rifle on "safe" with the Jewell.

Hi everyone this is my first post. I have been visiting the forum for a couple of years, but just do a lot of reading.
My first question is do these ULtra Light rifles have a very thin barrel and are they freefloating? Does anyone have an opinion or experence on whether a thin barrel should use pressure points or be freefloating.

Thanks for any info. offered salute

NULA's are full length bedded. The barrel is thin but not extremely thin.

I have a Ruger UL in 7mm08. It is not free floated. I tried free floating and accuracy deteriorated. Had to go back to pressure up front.

Started with a Leupold LPS 2.5-10x45 but it was too heavy. It currently has a Leupold VXIII 3.5-10x40 on it which works well.
