Posted in reloading then saw theres a bunch of 9.3 shooters here..........
For hunting purposes only, I have a mauser action 9.3X64 Brenneke and was wondering if I would be able to get away with a Lee collet die or if I should get a full length die. How many uses of the brass should I get from the Collet die befoe it gets hard to chamber? Anyone know where to find some brass for the brenneke?

Thanks alot for any help.

Chris

Buy a full set of dies. With the critters you might hunt with a 9,3x64 reliability can be the first in importance. A Collet die might give a very slight improvement in accuracy but IMHO should be an added die to a normal set.
I think that a collet die in 9,3x64 is a custom order item.
I've used a set of Forster's in 9,3x64 that worked fine they may stock them.
Try Old Western Scounger, Huntington's and Grafs to find the brass. The RWS stuff is beautiful but expensive. How long it lasts will probably depend upon your chamber and how you size the brass............DJ

....Remember that this is all supposed to be for fun!..................

I got some lee deluxe dies in 308 I discovered that they can be hell on cases I ruined a lot of mine before I had it setup not really a problem with 308 but I don't think you would want to have it happen with a Brenneke
