I have a factory sytnthetic stock on my TIkka but think its ugly, somewhat flimsy, cheap looking, and barely adequate. In fact, I think a good stock would make the gun shoot better although it shoots pretty good now. Do you know anyone who has gotten an HS, McMillan etc for a TIkka.....or who on here I should ask

The factory synthetic stocks are awful arent they! I can help as my stalking buddy has just had a 595 rebarreled and restocked with a McMillan from a 243 win to a 22/250 ackley. He contacted McMillan direct and it was made as a special order for him ready inletted. We had to relieve the barrel channel to bolt it together but it keep shooting annoying little groups where it is difficult to see where the last bullet has landed!!!!! We have not decided whether to glass bed or not.....
I have a wood stocked Tikka deluxe in .308 with a stainless match grade barrel, they really do take some beating dont they.
