This may be a stupid question but why is .30-06 ammo so hard to find? Midway USA has almost nothing. Most of it can be backordered but why would it be so scarce? Tried a couple local places also and they are mostly sold out. Disturbing. (If this is a topic that has been beaten to death, you have my sincere apologies. I did not mean to drag anyone through the agony of clicking a link )

The most ubiquitous hunting round in the world. Who doesn't have one (speaking retorically)? It seems logical to me that, in these political times, 30-06 would be the one that everyone would go out and buy up first. Just my way of thinkin'. Matt FISH!! Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984: "Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."
