Hi there I own a 270 Winchester (TIKKA) What do you think of the 110gr HV GS CUSTOM BULLETS as a general hunting bullet. I am planning a hunt for Blue Wildebees and springbuck. On the other side of the coin there is Rhino bullets currently I am using the 150 gr solid shank. Any advise will help.

Bian, Those 110 grainers on Springbok should not present a problem but go a 150 grain Woodleigh Protected Point or a similar premium projectile for the Wildebeest with a 270. How do you find the Tikka? I have a couple of them and love em!

Myself I would shoot 58.0 Grains of Reloder 22 behind a 130 grain Nosler Partition for both. Of course this is just my opinion and I could be wrong. [ 04-24-2003, 19:21: Message edited by: Handloader ]
