Hello.

My father recently found a box of old bullets, Winchester PP 220gr (.30 cal).

When did they stop making them?
How do they compare to current bullets like Hornady RN (220gr) or Sierra Pro Hunter (220gr)?

Regards,
Morgan

The Winchester ones were a Spire Point bullet. Both Winchester and Remington use to make spire point 220 grainers, but they quite selling them as no one bought them anymore as the 'premium" bullets became trendy and the public became more interested in high velocity. bewildered

Actually Morgan, If you were not in Sweden, but in the USA instead, I'd just tell you that they really stink and just to be a good guy, I'd take them off of your hands and dispose of them for you ( out of my rifle, one at a time over the next 100 or so hunting situations etc.) I personally miss them!! bawling

cheers and good shooting
