While very cool, drillings like this aren't worth a huge amount (considering how much work went into making it!) This is probably in the $1200-2000 range. It looks like a blitz action which is common. Don't shoot basic 16 gauge ammo if you can help it. Your gun will have 2 1/2 inch chambers. If you can't find 2.5" ammo (try Polywad or RST), try to find the lowest powered (low dram equiv) 2.75 ammo. I have used regular Remington field loads with no visible effects, but 2.5" shells are what it is made for. Good shooting! For more info, join doublegunshop.com and post there. There is a gentleman who posts as ellenbr who is a drilling expert. http://www.doublegunshop.com/f...tlist&Board=9&page=1 I have something similar that I traded for at Kittery Trading post years ago. Why don't you post this in the "drilling" forum? You will probably get more info from the lookers there. DM | |||
