I pick up a Remington 7600 in 35 whelen. It has new brass-100 rounds, dies, two boxes of Nolser bullets and a 1-4x20 Leopold scope in Leopold mounts. I paid 400.00 dollars for the set. Gun looks used but, well kept. Did I pay to much? What kind of accuracy should I get? Any info on the cal. or rifle would be a great help

Scope and rings are worth what you paid. "Remington" -- unless it's rusted shut, is worth $200 out the door.

If you feel you may have paid too much, I'll give you the $400.00 for the entire package! Actually, you did extremely well. As OXO said, you'll pay about that much just for the scope and mounts. Dies are $30-35.00, bullets are at least .10-.15 each. Depending on what you hunt, there's no need to load this baby to maximum. You can duplicate .358 Win. ballistics for a pleasant-shooting rig that will take whitetails like a lightning bolt.
