I'm looking for one for my wife in .300 mag or 7mm mag. If you're selling one or know someone who is, please let me know! Thanks.

Joe Have look at Eurooptic's Web site...they are a very big Sauer dealer and should be able to get you set up. Great rifles and lots of options. http://www.eurooptic.com/sauer-rifles.aspx Paul "Diligentia - Vis - Celeritas" NRA Benefactor Member Member DRSS

I have a LH 202 Synthetic with 2 barrels but it's not a take down, other than removing the barrel.

Yes, they all "take down" to some degree, in that you can remove the barrel. The true "split in half" Sauer take-down is considerably more expensive, so unless you really need a true takedown, get a regular 202. They go all the way from synthetic to the Supreme grades, then several above that.

I'm set on getting a true takedown Sauer 202. Will have to wait I reckon. I did just buy a French V-C true takedown in .270 WSM for my traveling hunter wife.

Bass Pro Shop Denver has a couple including a 300 Win Mag. They have a couple in large calibers also. Do a search on Guns International and you will find them. Hendershot's Sporting Goods has a used 375 scoped for sale on their web site, also.

Thanks to all; those 2-bbl.- set takedowns are pricey! I'll start w/the V-C rifle & see how that goes. Its hard to find those takedown Sauers in smaller calibers.
