| The boxes I have are an older style, I didn't know they had made a 250 either, I bought these as a lot of .366 bullets and assumed they were 270gr. |

| Thanks, OR; my starting load for the 250BT is +60gr of Varget with a FC 210M. If your rifle is a new one or on a strong action(M70 or 98), you are about 7% below my max. I don't know how your gun is. I had very good luck with this load and it is very accurate. Kudude |

| Those 250 Speers were made in the early '70s, supposedly to fill a foreign order and there were enough left over for the little bit of domestic demand there was for .366" bullets in those days. Somewhere around here I've got an article that addresses that. |

| I've never used or seen these particular Speer bullets but do use the 270 grainers, too. Here some data that I use with my hoard of stashed away 250 grain NBT's in the 9,3x62. Brass is RWS & (WLR) is a Winchester Large Rifle primer. Perhaps this could be useful to you? Nosler 250 gr. Ballistic Tip RWS WLR 55.6 grs. VV N-140 3.225" Nosler 250 gr. Ballistic Tip RWS WLR 56.4 grs. IMR-4320 3.225" Nosler 250 gr. Ballistic Tip RWS WLR 53.5 grs. H-4895 3.225" All three of these loads out of my Mauser will cut one ragged hole at 100 meters with the NBT's.

| Ken Waters mentions the 250 gr. Speer 9.3 bullet and list several loads in a 9.3X62 Pet Loads article in Handloader #155 Jan.-Feb. 1992. |

| With my leftover Nosler 250 gr. BT's I am getting about 2375 fps using 57 to 58 grains of R903 (RL-15). Group size under 1 inch at 100m. Could go a tad faster as I am not getting any pressure signs but I like the accuracy I get now. At least a starting point. Don
