I use the 165 gr interbonds in my 300wm and they work great. The deer usually drop in their tracks. Good Hunting,

I used them in my 7mm RM for a whitetail hunt a few years ago. They were accurate but weren't the right bullet for the deer I hit at close range. I had expected a long shot 200yds or more but took the buck at 30 yds. The bullet pancaked on the shoulder and I didn't find that deer for several months. He had run 100 to 150 yds after the hit on the point of the shoulder. I think with the 7x57 it would probably be a good bullet for deer. I saw a friend of mine use the 154 gr Interbond on elk in a 280 Rem two solid hits didn't penerate both sides thru the heart/lung area. My opinion is they open up quickly and tend to pancake. However, thats only two observations.

I have shot deer with them. That exact bullet, as well, in a 7mm Remington Magnum. They seem to function similarly to the Interlock but stay together a bit more which was nice on shorter range shots. Good expansion though, even at very long range (~420 yards at the longest) which should be well within the velocity range for a 7x57. I wouldn't use them for 3200+ fps at short range, but 2800fps, no problem. ________ "...And on the 8th day, God created beer so those crazy Canadians wouldn't take over the world..."

I haven't used the interbonds in 7x57, but I have used the 139 interlock and love it. It is a very good (and economical) bullet for deer in the lighter 7mms. The interbond may be a little tough for deer at the lower 7x57 velocity, but I don't know.

I guess I should add that with the 165 gr interbond I have also taken warthogs, kudu, wildebeest, gemsbok, steenbok, duiker, klipspringer, blesbok, bush buck, reedbuck, nyala, impala, waterbuck, feral hogs, axis deer, fallow deer and sheep. No problems on any of them except for the occasional bad shot by the shooter, no bodies perfect. Good Hunting,

| I think they would be perfet in the 7 x 57 as they are a bit soft, and give a lot of frontal area. Having used the 180 gr in the 300 Mag on plains game, it's perfornce was just fine, they all died.

I shot four deer with them this year.Three were shot with a 7mmSTW 139gr IB MV chrono graphed at 3450fps.These three were shot at 125-150yds, all shots were through both shoulders, lots of bone contact, all bullets exited an no signs of any bullet fragments found. The forth deer was shot with a 7mm magnum, same bullet,MV 3240fps,through the ribs at 125yds.,bullet exited and again no signs of any bullet fragments. All deer were quick clean kills.I had been using Nosler Accubonds the last couple of years, but I think the Hornaday IB bullets are a little tougher, penetrate better, deliver a nice wound channel and grouped just as good as the AB's.

I took 3 deer this past season with the 165 gr IB in a 300WSM, and all dropped in their tracks. Over the past 3 years I've taken many hogs with the same load with the same results. The IB is very accurate in my rifles and I will keep using it.

They're accurate in my "06" and 338 RUM. The 165gr opens fast and holds together. The picture below is a 165 gr, 30 cal @ 2920 MV, after 20" + of wild hog. Retained 162gr's.

| Tom, I have used the 130s in a win 270 to take many deer and they will work fine. Many DRT bang flops. That being said, I now prefer the Nosler accubond. Better accuracy and terminal performance. Best of luck with your hunting.

I have used the Interbonds in several calibers and they perform fine, as long as you put the bullet in the right spot. It's really all about shot placement!
