mo, I settled on 72 grs that gave about 3000 fps out of a 26" barrel. You have to work up. That load is max in Speer 12. Try to load the bullets out as far as you can so the short neck can grip the bullet. Function comes first so check them in the magazine and that they don't catch in the lands. Note the caution on that cartridge in the Nosler manuals. That's a long bullet. Join the NRA

The SST is not a good all around load in the 300 Win mag, it's pretty soft. You would be better off with the Speer hotcor spitzer. Leftists are intellectually vacant, but there is no greater pleasure than tormenting the irrational.

I'm working up a load using IMR 4350 and Sierra 180 grainers. It was shooting well in warm weather, but the cold weather caused the groups to open up, so I am going to try a Fed Mag Primer, and work it up again. I'm using 68 grains of 4350, chrono at the mid 2900. I'll keep you posted. ______________________________ Well, they really aren't debates... more like horse and pony shows... without the pony... just the whores. 1955, Top tax rate, 92%... unemployment, 4%.
