I am looking for loads for a Rem 700 LSS (26" bbl) in 338 Rem. Ulta Mag. with Nosler 200gr BT's. Primary use will be long range deer hunting, 350-500 yds. Prefer Hodgdon Extreme powders BUT I am open to any good loads. Thanks HL

You may have to work them up for yourself. This is a good deer bullet, but most people seem to load 338RUM with heavier harder bullets for big game.

The load I found to shoot well in a Remington Sendero chambered in .338 RUM when using a 200 grain BT was as follows: Rem case Fed 215 primer 93.5 grains of RL 22 Nosler 200 grain BT OAL 3.62" Velocity 3260 fps group 0.68" I would suggest you start a few grains lower on the powder charge, but this load was perfectly safe in the rifle I tested. Hope this helps, R F R Flowers
