I fondled one of these at a local sports shop, it is a light weight but appear to be a well put together rifle.
What do owners think of these compact rifles and how well do they shoot?
Thanks. wave

My Kimber 84M was very nice looking, with the barrel squarely in the center of the barrel channel, though I have seen some that weren't. The action functioned smoothly and well, and the trigger was very good, with only a hint of creep and breaking at 4 pounds.

I couldn't get it to shoot, however. Sometimes the groups were an inch and a half, while other times they were four inches. The Kimbers I've read about seem to fall into two polar opposites - (1) fantastic shooters, or (2) like mine. I warned the new owner about its checkered past before selling it, and he's had good luck with it, so maybe it was me.
