Does anyone know a source for the pictinny rail scope base as pictured on a Tikka varmint model pictured on their website ? I can't seem to find it on their website , seems like a good solution to many mounting problems .I have the T-3 light stainless in 300 win. , and don't care for the factory ring cap screws . I almost have one of them rounded out because of careless handling on my part .I think it would be much better suited to the weaver style mount system .Anyone ???

elk 32, As far as the mount on the website, can't help ya but, I picked up a T3 and the first thing I decided was to remove the POS rings it came with. Burris makes a good sturdy mount system. I used the Signature series rings to go with. So far so good. http://www.burrisoptics.com/ If you have "ADOBE" you can get the fit guide page 2 and see the mounts. Hope this helps?? Here in Canada we do not get the free rings that come with a T3 rifle-which I'm glad for. I use the Tikka Opti-lock rings and bases on my 2 tikka T3 LS 270WSM and Sako Optilock rings and bases on my m75 SS 300WM. THese rings are very strong, excellent quality, and are my suggestion for the Tiika T3 or Sako rifles.
