Info we have received from the factory so far on the new 85 Finnlight 7mm is as follows:

-Fluted barrel
-24 3/8" barrel length
-controlled cartridge feed
-controlled magazine latch
-stronger bolt stop mechanism
-new recoil absorption butt pad system

There are some other features also. We have a catalouge we could send you on the regular 85 stainless synthetic rifles (none for Finnlight yet). If you would be interested in receiving one of those, please provide your complete mailing address

That was my response from Sako, When i asked about the new 85 finnlight, looks good to me but here in canada the will be about 1850$ candian

Good stuff mate.
Those spec's you listed(Fluted barrel/24 3/8" barrel),are identical to the older 75 7mmRem Mag.That would mean the 243W,308W,338Fed 111 action lengths will have the same spec's= 20.25" barrels thumb.But weighing in at 100g lighter = 2.7kg(Max) or 6lbs.(Being the difference between the 75 & 85 stocks).

cheers

PS-PM me if you still want my address details sent.I'm in Australia mate.
