Does anyone here have any information on the new 325 SM being advertised by Browning and Winchester? I understand it will drive a 180 grainer at 3000 fps. from a short action fattie. I would like more info.

The 180 gr load is listed at 3060. This is with a Ballistic tip. I probably wouldn't use this load for anything outside of deer. The 200 gr is an Accu-Bond which could be used for almost anything (2950 fps). The 220 is a Power-Point at 2840 fps.

Hope that helps.

Skip the ( belted and dead ) 8 mm Rem, but backup to the 8x68S!

I want one! With 200 grs Nosler Partitions ahead a basket of IMR...

Another U.S. maker's attempt at an 8mm. Personally, I'd prefer either the 8mm Rem. Mag. or the 8X68S....
