Have any of you ever tried 300 grn. A-Frame in 9,3X74R dbl.rifle?

I would like to use loads with Vihtavuori or Norma powder.

Any experience?

i use it all the time 65 gr old h4831. impacts to the same point as 285 factory & regulates the same as well. shot quite a bit of game with the load without a problem

not using it in a double, but my loads for my encore in 9,3x74R are 56 gr of IMR 4064 pushing the 300 grain A-frames.

I just loaded 20 Rds yesterday with new Norma Brass and CCI #200 primers. 10 with H414 and 10 with H4831 SC. Put a slight crimp on them. If it ever gets above zero degrees here I will see how they shoot?
