Great looking rifle. Got any groups of how it shoots? Because that's when it becomes beautiful in my eyes....Haven't managed to get a deer with the engraving or the wood yet Smiler

best wishes,

Finman

Finman, I just checked through our regulation cards that I have on hand. It's not on my desk, so either it has been delivered to the client or it is in England. I'm checking with England now to see if they have it. It I can locate it, I'll certainly put a photo up.

I do have the regulation card for the 416 that is in Big Bore Rifles and Custom Rifles. I'll post that over there in case you're interested.

Thanks for the response Kent. Not dissimilar to when evaluating a car, it only makes sense to know how it performs as well as admiring how it looks. I feel that no rifle presentation is complete without a presentation of its groups, and, perhaps, it should be done as a matter of course.

best wishes,

Finman

A little ornate for my taste, but that's just me. I could covet a rifle such as that for sure.

What a beauty, and the perfect calibre for my purposes!

Hi Finman

I would nt dare! the only thing .275 Rigby about it is the reamer that the chamber was cut with. :roll eyes: It does serve as a legal 7x57 to take to France tho'.

I don't think a McM Swirly, Finnish actioned semi custom is quite the company this beauty deserves. By comparison, mine is a 'Tart' of a rifle, but heck , it shoots better than I can.

I'm away working at present, but I do have some groups at Home which I can post if I remember when I get back.
Take care & stay safe.

What action is it based on?
