I had just sold my BLR at the gunshow and on the way out the door, there was a NIB SLB 2000K Deluxe for a very reasonable price. As a side note it's got the flash gold lines around the receiver but I don't really see anything deluxe about the wood. It has 3 mags, 2,5 and 10 rounds, carbine length (20" barrel? need to measure). I've just put an old scope on it so if the weather cooperates I can take it to the range tomorrow. How should I expect this one to shoot? I've got a Gr.III BAR in '06 also which will consistantly put 180 gr. loads into less than 1.25". The BAR has much nicer wood of course but I sort of like the look of this with the extended mag in it. Anything to watch out for with the HK's? Anyone know who sells spare magazines?

Hi Browning Guy, My wife shoots the H&K 770 I guess it is, .308 anyway and this uses the same mags as the rifle you found. The little rubber buffer in the action will come apart, and H&K had a fix which had some stamped metal to cover it. I find her rifle to be quite accurate and the polygonal does clean up easy. Good luck and good shooting with it.
