I picked up four powders this weekend to load 150 gr Partitions for a 7/08: W760, RL15, H380, and Varget.

I've been cross-referencing different manuals to establish max loads for each powder, but would like to get a reality check from you guys.

Anybody load for this combination? Can you post your loads, so I can cross-check?

Thanks.

TRADEMARK, I load the 7MM-08 for many years. I have found that RL-15 gives the best accurace with vel. I never load the 150's I load the 140 sierra B.T. with 44.5 at 2944 fps. great for deer size game.

I'm using 39.5grs. Varget with 150NBTs, 3 of the 5 shots went into the same hole when last shooting at 100yds., a similar load of RL15 should do the same, I use 39grs. with 150MKs getting equal accuracy results as the Noslers, I'd suggest using these two powders, for sure. Jay

Well Travis...being the lazy old F--- that I am...I just use the Fed. 140 Nosler Partitions right out of the box and so far nothing has run off. One of those oryx you see in my house died from the old Fed and 7/08 BLR Browning.
Now Karen has a new Win. 70 Ftwt, in 7/08.
There are a number of bleached deer bones in Irion County Tx thanks to 7/08's.
