I was curious if anyone has used Sciroccos with any accuracy and success. I tried the 224s in a 22/6mm and could not get them to shoot under 2 moa. It seems to be a good concept but I need some accuracy.

What's a 22/6mm? Is that a 6 mm Remington necked down to .224"?

Also, what are you trying to kill with this cartridge? I don't shoot big game with anything .224", so I can't help you there. But I do shoot a lot of paper with a 223 Rem rifle out to 600 yards, so I do have a good idea of what bullets work well there.

The sciroccos have been the worst grouping bullet in all of my rifles. They also cause heavy copper fouling.

I gave up trying 150 grain sciroccos to group in my .30-06.....best group was terrible....well over 4" and I was getting a-frames in about 1.12"

Tried some 150's today in my Kimber 84m .308 5shots at 4". Also have tried 165's same results.Thru with sciroccos tried 150 xxx shocks and I am happy now. Perhaps you should try the xxx shocks. 7 out of 10 stayed under an inch with other 3 making group 2". That was with an ak47 chunking spent cases at me,range was crowded today.

Wow. No idead Sciroccos perform this badly....

You would think that for their cost they would all go through the same hole.

My brother has the same set up,he tried them also with same results. Liked the idea they just wouldn't shoot in our rifles. Would use them if they did.

HP,
the 22/6mm is a 6mm necked down to .224. I use it to cull deer in Tx. with head and neck shots. I shoot the 75gr A Max @ about 3500fps, its pretty flat shooting. I do not hunt big game with it as some do, it is more for surgery than "knock down". I was just curiouos about my results and it sounds like my results are on par with the rest.
