Browning scope mount problem

Putting weaver bases on an old belgium browning 308 with the mauser action..Bought #45 and #46 bases as the weaver website reccomends..The rear base seems perfect but the front base has the holes too far apart,,should I look at a different base or what am I doing wrong???

I read here that the front spacing should be .860",but on this one the front spacing is .750....rear spacing is .5 and the mount fits good,any suggestions on mating up a front base?????Contour on the 46 base seems good..

When a straight edge is held flush with the rear mount the front mount is also .090 lower????this is starting to get me a might bit frustrated!!!!!
