so far my rem 700 has been modified to include:
Krieger barrel 1-10 no contour.
Jewell trigger
Richards F-Class stock with adj. comb and pull.
Oversize bolt.
General action clean up.
This is my first attempt at this, ultimate goal is a long range target gun . Hoping to get it to under twenty # for comp. use but I don't really care if its not.
Any advice on the subject from those who have been their appreciated.

anything less than a 200gr pill is a waste in that cannon. I use 200gr SMK's, 220grSMK's, 210gr Berger, 216gr clinch river,..etc

Powders were H1000, RL25, retumbo, WC869, 7828, etc etc

A good 30" barrel is a must to utilize the powder capacity and really get the heavy pills moving.

The case capacity I'm working with is only slightly larger than the RUM, barrel is a 30" 1-12 (ergo I'm staying away from the longer types)
