I am not familiar with this one...what is it likely to be...some kind of European .375"? The Guns America listing I actually received was for a 9.62x64. http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976682976.htm My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still.

That would be the 9.3x64 Brenneke. It's popular with medium-big bore types over there. It's actually an excellent cartridge design and the one that the .376 Steyr is based on. See if you can get ahold of Snowman from Manitoba, he's fairly knowledgable on that cartridge.

Thank You Cobra. I have and use a 9.3x64 and I am quite fond of it. I may not be a world authority on the 9.3x64 but I know a little about this calibre. Alberta Canuck What did you want to know ?

I challenged the seller of the rifle on this description, and he refused to reply with any useful information. LLS Mannlicher Collector

European .375's are 9.5mm's........That would be a .388" bullet if that is the land diameter, or a .379" bullet if groove diameter, like a .38/55...... "Bitte, trinks du nicht das Wasser. Dahin haben die Kuhen gesheissen."
