This is my second poll. Like the big bore poll, you will have limited but somewhat common choices. You are picking two rifles to be made, one in each catagory (Deer, and Elk) The first part you are picking a custom deer rifle(or sim. sized game) in a bolt action. The second part you are picking a custom elk rifle (or sim. sized game)in a bolt action. You get one choice for each catagory. Happy Hunting!

GSP7, this has been a problem on the big bore poll also. Maybe Saeed can answer for us. One thought of mine is that forum recognizes blocks of IPs and you and another person, who already has voted, are in the same block. Just a guess though.

The only cartridge in the elk catagory thats mainstream is the 338 WM. If I were to have a true custom made it would be in a popular cartridge.

In such a elk poll I would offer the 270 WSM, 7mm WSM, 7mm RM, 7mm STW, 30-06, 300 WSM, 300 WM, 300 Weatherby, 300 RUM, 338 WM, 338 RUM, 35 Whelan and the 375 HH.

Savage99 Thats ok... The poll is not electing anyone so a person not voting simple doesnt exists in the totality of the voters and skews nothing as far as results.
Just curious, savage.... which might you have included? maybe we could do this again in 4-6 months? Thanks for your time.

GSP7... I did not forget the swede, I am following the forum outline in that the smallest caliber is to be .27. Trust me, I would have like to have added a few 6.5s.
Maybe we can do another on the small bore forum that is for sub-caliber deer cartridges (22cal-6.5mm).

Like some others I did not vote in the "Elk" poll as I do not like the choices.
