If it isn't too much trouble for any of you that have a Rigby 350, could you please tell me the barrel diameter at the muzzle, shank at the receiver ring and right after the step down past the chamber. Thanks in advance

MH Sorry for the delay. The barrel diameter at the muzzle is .640. The diameter of the barrel at the receiver ring is 1.28" The step down begins in front of the front scope base- diameter there is 1.28 then reduces to .820 at its ending point in front of the rear sight block. If you pm your cell number I can text photos of the barrel if it would help. My rifle is a Rigby on a magnum action and is serial number 4714.

Dahav, Thank you very much. That is exactly what I needed. Would love to see your pics but not necessary. I really appreciate you going to the trouble to take the measurements.

Ok great, if you need any more information i. e. stock contour, weight of the rifle, etc. just let me know. The barrel is 24" and the rifle is very trim.

My 350 was assembled with a Midway 35 whelen barrel. I don't recall the contour but believe it was 0.70" at the muzzle. It was a joy to shoot, but honestly I found it too heavy to hunt with so sold it. __________________________________________________ The AR series of rounds, ridding the world of 7mm rem mags, one gun at a time.
