Hi Gentlemen! I'm interested to learn about your experience with this couple and also what biggest/heaviest game did you get with it. Thanks in advance

They are a very good elk bullet. I've killed several and seen several killed with the 225 gr .338 AB's. Elk and moose is about as big as I'd go with them.

I think the largest I took with that combo was a cow elk. Hogs don't count. I love the Accubonds and use them as my go to bullet for most reloading. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

I have used the 225 Accubond in my 338wm on Red deer, Roe deer, Reindeer and wild boar and it's a great all-round hunting bullet ! It kills everything you shoot quickly .........and it's very accurate !

I switched fairly recently from 225 Partitions to 225 Accubonds in my .338. There was nothing at all wrong with the Partitions but the Accubonds are (1) a little cheaper, (2) a little more accurate by an average of about .15 MOA in my gun, and (3) have a tad higher B.C. The largest game I had taken with the Partitions was a 700-lb Hartmann Zebra, and although I have not taken anything larger than a good-sized feral hog with the Accubonds I don't doubt that they would perform quite similarly to the Partitions. With either bullet I get 2900 fps and MOA accuracy from my Sako .338.
