most likely Huntington. RWS makes them, don't know about Norma.

Hey Husky, you are a Swede, so you must know what your fellow countrymen at Norma do. But Norma does not actually list the 8x68S on their website - at least in the section for components:

Ah, I just see Norma does list the 8x68S under their ammo section...

http://www.norma.cc/sortimentj...=1&Kalibernamn=8x68S

Even here in Europe, 8x68S cases are not the easiest to come by. I have had RWS cases on order for a while now (they are for a friend, I don't own an 8x68S myself).

On top of RWS, we can get cases made by RUAG in Switzerland - headstamped "T", which normally indicates the location "Thun". I have been told, though, civilian products are not strictly manufactured in the Thun facility. Go figure...

Of late, there was a discussion about North American availabilty of 8x68S brass (I believe it was), and the general concensus was that a Candian custom maker (forget the name, makes high class falling block single shot rifles) was your best bet. Use the search function...

THanks for the replies.
I live in Norway, so if Norma makes a run of them that should be the easiest way.

I really like my 8X68S. It took about six months of scrounging around, but did manage to find three or four hundred rounds of loaded ammo. Most of it was RWS but I did snag four boxes of Factory Norma. I need to drag it out and shoot it again.
