The trigger guard to my Ruger M77 , with tang safety, got broken in the mail, had the gun sent to gunsmith.
Now, we have a serious big problem finding a new one, since they are out of production long time ago. The trigger guard to the new M77 doesnt fit to the old modell
Does anyone have a spare one or maybe someone know where i can get one ??

I can still use the gun, but I dont like to go hunting with a boken trigger guard, dont feel very safe with it.

Its original chambered for 30-06, now its in 6,5-06.

So if anyone can help, please reply, the deer season is just around the corner ...

Thx

Brownells used to carry Moyers steel trigger guards and floorplates for the old model Ruger. If you can't find one let me know and I think I have one someplace without the spring and latch for floorplate. You would have to use the latch, spring and pin off your old one. Your homepage doesn't work from my terminal.

Datchsterrier.
I called them to get it. It was in late May or early June. Ruger told me to give them a call. They were the only one I could find with this part..TJ

Datchsterrier, sorry for your troubles, and if I had seen this posted a few days earlier I could have solved your problem with either the original aluminium or a new steel TG. I am in the process of moving and have packed them and shipped them on ahead to the new home. Should you not acquire one in several weeks time, please IM me or post again.
